These houses were given to first class passengers on klm flights( Royal Dutch Airlines) as a gift, filled with typical Dutch ''jonge jenever''(Dutch gin) since aprox 1956.
This house is number 49
each house measures between 8-10 cm high
condition: small glaze chip to the back roof aprox 1 mm ( see picture), cork and seal in place, liquor inside
There are close to a hundred different houses now( one new one issued every year)
This is one of the newest series issued between 1986 and today recognizable by the ''bols'' backstamp ( this was the company which produced the jenever); the houses itself were produced by the potterycompany Goedewaagen in Gouda until 1986 but after that year outside of Holland but are still the real Delft blue.
These Bols houses are the newest ( all houses higher than number 46 are Bols houses ), are still handed out today and these were brought recently from overseas, found on local markets and collecting them goes on; recently a book was written about the history of each house as each one of them is based on an existing house in Holland
