Perfect Weekend takes readers into the private lives of very public people to reveal how they spend their leisure time. 52 high profile South African newsmakers in politics, business, sport and art describe their downtime in a book that showcases them in a way they are not traditionally shown: relaxing and having fun. The portraits – taken in a wide variety of locations countrywide from the ocean to the bedroom – are shot by Durbanite Brett Florens, acknowledged by Nikon as one of the world’s most influential photographers. The interviews and words are by an ex-senior journalist for the Cape Time and published author, Dominique Herman.
