Q:
Hi,
I am 6' (1.83m). Is this bike going to be big enough for me?
Thanks

Hi Denzil. i am 1.86 and ride it comfortably as well. Giant frames are maked in standard sizes, but are of a compact design allowing a wider range of rider sizes. It was one of the reasons why we chose it originally. Regards Andrew

Q:
Hi. Just a few questions please if you don't mind :
Will this bike work for a 1.70 meter guy or is it too big?
What year model is this and what Giant Upland model? I think it is the Upland SE, but am not sure.
Is it possible to include more specs? I am particularly interested in what kind of brakes it has, (hydraulic, etc), and what speed.
Thanks. - Asked by p_buitendag (360 Rating score between 100 and 499)

Hi,

No problem on the questions. my wife rides it and she is just under 1.70 so it will be fine.
I think it is a 2006 model and was an Upland but I have put on a RST fork that was on another bike of mine, the RST was completely rebuilt in 2007.
It has std V-brakes and is a 21 speed bike. Basic Shimano componentry with Tourney rear derailleur.
it also includes a Bontrager saddle, Pro Bar Ends, Shimano Tubby Bag, Shimano Clipless pedals and new cleats, Shock pump and the original steel fork that came with the bike.

Bike has been hardly ridden, as it actually my fathers. Mine is the Maverick also for sale on B or B. Condition = 9/10

Q:
Hi,
I am interested in this bike, I would like to pay but I need to include the shipping cost in the payment. Please confirm that your dad will drop it off on Monday, thus no shipping cost.

hI Frank

I will only find out later tonight if they are going back on Monday. What i suggest is if you want the bike then buy it at the current price and we can sort the shipping out directly. The reason I suggest this is I have had a few enquiries about it today and you did ask first.

Regards
Andrew

Sorry, further to the above answer, I have just had confirmation they are not going through on Monday as they have finished the work there. If you want to add the postage I'll get it shipped for you on Monday first thing.

Hi Frank, If you still want the bike, make the shipping R100 and I'll cover the balance and have it posted down to you insured. Regards Andrew
