The JNC Navig8 GPS-580 features the same classic design as the GPS-578, where the difference comes in though, is that the GPS-580 will be running Southern Africa 2008 V2.

This means that the GPS-580 will be filled with new features such as safety camera information, the ability to Navig8 via entering coordinates, an automatic day/night mode and also contain maps of not only South Africa but all 6 neighboring countries, Mozambique, Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland and Zimbabwe. Your GPS-580 will have over 675 000KM’s of roads and over 146 000 POI’s along with a new feature of branded POI’s whereby selected company logo’s are now displayed instead of the generic POI logo.

Even though the GPS-580 is one of the most affordable GPS units on the market, the GPS-580 does not cut back on features, it has Mp3, Mp4 and picture playback and even features TMC, which once available in South Africa will make Navig8ing your way through traffic a breeze.
