The only default is that the stem has broken of. Thus the analog and digital is working but to excess all the digital functions the stem will need to be inserted by a professional watchmaker. Breitling agents in Cape Town quoted me over the phone R700 for this, but they have still a backlog and the waiting time is 1 to 2 months. But if the watch will be serviced then they will automatically fix this.
If you know a watchmaker to have experience on Breitling professional series than he will be able to do this.
This does not need to be done right away as the watch does keep analogical time with the markers. So you can do it when you can afford it. You wont have excess to the digital chronometer etc.
