This is a wonderful little vintage Kodak camera.
The Brownie Starlet is a simple plastic point-and-shoot camera that was made by Kodak from 1956-1962, and was one of the very successful "star" series of Brownies. It was made in the USA, by Eastman Kodak Co, using black moulded plastic for the body with metal and glass accents. It has a grey shutter release button and stunning text graphics.
This one is in an excellent vintage condition. It still has its metal top plate that is often missing from these cameras, intact. The nylon strap is in a very good vintage condition. It has two aperture modes - black & white and colour, and features a Dakon lens. The shutter releases crisply, and you have to wind it every time for the shutter to work.
It is well protected by its original leather case that is still in a very good condition however some of the stitching are starting to come undone. Other than that the case seems to be in a perfect condition with no scratches or bumps to be seen.
A wonderful little camera that would look good as part of a collection.
