I DON'T KNOW IF CHILDREN STILL DO THIS THESE DAYS BUT AS CHILDREN WE ALL HAD SILK WORMS AND USED TO CUT DIFFERENT SHAPES FROM CARDBOARD AND LET THE SILKWORMS SPIN AROUND THESE - THIS IS THAT TYPE OF SILK. ITEMS ARE EXQUISITE, DELICATE MOTHER OF PEARL FLOWER SHAPES MOUNTED ON TORTOISE SHELL - BOTH IMITATION (I THINK) BUT RARE AND BEAUTIFUL. PENDANT HAS A FEW MARKS BUT BRACELET IS PERFECT.
