Scarce Boer War Censored Prisoner of War Cover which was sent from Potchefstroom in the Transvaal to the Deadwood Camp (Tent Number 28) in St. Helena on the 17th of June 1901. The Cover has a mauve "P.B.C." Cachet and is backstamped with an oval "Passed by Censor - Potchefstroom" Cachet dated the 17th of June 1901 and with an In Transit "Johannesburg" Postmark dated the 19th of June 1901. The Cover is a bit tatty so please see scans supplied.
