ERICSSON WWII MILITARY MORSE CODE PHONE
Great historical piece of militaria!
Hand dated 15 September 1941 - Johannesburg

This great old military Morse code phone is the D3 model, was made by Ericsson and used extensively in the second world war.
It is in good condition and all the wiring and working parts appear to be intact.
We have not tried cleaning or restoring the phone, so expect it to be as dusty and dirty as it probably left the battle field!
It still has the original metal case marked D III, although a bit rusty and although the original strap is still there, it is broken in one place.
A hand drawn wiring diagram is fixed to the inside of the lid and dated September 15, 1941.
The manufacaturer's marks and a patent date of 29 October 1895 is stamped onto the handset, see image below.
These phones are not often found intact, let alone with provenance in the form of a hand written date and place, so get your bid in as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!
Please have a look at the images to verify condition and feel free to ask any questions.
