VINTAGE GARNET AND PEARL 9CT RING. HEAVY 3,5 GRAMS. LARGE SIZE FINGER S/half
This ring has distinctly old England appeal! It features three natural garnets, one oval in the centre and two round cut garnets. They total just under a carat (0,91 carats to be precise). In addition there are four natural seed pearls, very evocative of the Victorian tasted in jewellery. The entire ring is 9 carat gold (hallmarked for British 375 gold) and to add to the vintage appeal, the ring is raised just over 4mm above the finger. The section of gold raising the head has been ornately decorated. It's age has left the hallmarks a little difficult to make out. I can see the hallmarks for British origin gold, 375 for 9 carat gold, the jeweller signature mark and the Assay office. There is also the date indicator that puts it at about early seventies.
