Hardcover no DJ. J.C. Juta & Co Cape Town Port Elizabeth and Johannesburg 1893. 242 pages inc index plus fold out map. ( a First edition I think)
Yellowing, foxing to some pages and the odd mark here and there as one would expect fom a book of this age. A small piece missing from bottom of title page. Half title page is inscribed to W. F. Lehman from R.R. Brydon ( ?) 3/10/94 and signed by the said R.R. Brydon. Pages loose from 87 -90. ( see pics below) Please feel free to ask questions.
For anyone interested in the early days of mining in Kimberley, Johannesburg and elsewhere in Southern Africa this 120 year old gem would I think be a Gold Mine! ( pardon the pun!!).
