The majority of new HTC devices are equipped with a new 11-pin USB interface which accomodates two different charging modes: a sync-n-charge mode through a computer USB port (slow charge) and a regular charge mode through an AC/DC adapter or any other charging accessory (fast charge). Those two charge settings require two completely different pinouts and are not compatible with each other. The new HTC ExtUSBTM interface also includes the headset connection.In select devices, the incompatibility would mean that a sync-and-charge cable for your device, when connected to an AC/DC adapter or similar charging accessories will not be properly configured to charge your device. Our new Lil Sync® Duo Pro Adapter is the convenient solution to this common charging problem while incorporating a Handsfree module. Using our DUO Pro adapter causes your device to use the most effective fast-charge mode when plugged into AC/DC power and the switch is set to 'F'. If the switch is set to 'S', a normal sync and charge functionality is enabled. Additionally, there is a 3.5mm Stereo headphone jack tailed onto the adapter with an answer button and built-in mic. This allows you to conveniently charge your unit and have handsfree operation for use in an automobile. In some cases, your device will not charge from an AC/DC adapter or other charging accessory when the battery life is below 30 percent. Our Lil Sync® Duo Pro Adapter will charge your device from a completely drained battery. Additionally, we have enhanced our original Lil' Sync® Pro by upgrading to USB 2.0, a more robust retracting mechanism, increasing the cable strength and power capacity, and increasing the length by 15 inches. This bundle includes one Lil Sync® DUO Pro Adapter and one Lil Sync® Pro Retractable Sync-N-Charge Cable.
