The Origin of Mike Parsons Pen sketches

 Before Mike Parsons, my father, became a professional artist he used to be a commercial pilot. The nature of being a crop sprayer meant that there was a lot of down time which he spent doing ballpoint pen sketches to pass the time. From the age of 12 I did not receive an allowance or pocket money but instead I got pen sketches from my father which I sold at Zoo Lake’s Artists under the sun exhibitions each month. It is strange but from the age of 12 I saw the immense beauty and value of these sketches. I take great pleasure in selling these sketches sharing the simple beauty of a ballpoint pen sketch with potential art investors
