1974. Hard cover with dust cover, 192 pages. Very good condition. Under 1kg.

This is the first book on the Yom Kippur War to tell the story of the war through the people of Israel themselves; those who died, those who survived and those who were bereaved. It has an added interest to South Africans because most of the characters in the book have South African backgrounds. There is also a prologue on the large contribution made by South Africans to the founding of the Israel Air Force in 1948, during the War of Independence.
