BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE BLUE SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND RING. 9ct GOLD. DATE MARK 1978
JEWELLER CERTIFICATE R8'588
This lovely and very solid vintage piece presents a classic flower design with four deep dark blue 2,75mm round sapphires and five 1,25mm round diamonds. The ring has quite a broad shank that has been decorated with an unusual star design down each shoulder. The flower design stands out nicely, with the alternating of the sapphires and diamonds and the colours contrast well with the bright yellow of the 9ct gold.
The hallmarks all show the ring's pedigree including 375 for 9K gold, the Royal crown, the jeweller signature and the date mark for 1978. At just under 4 grams it is quite a substantial ring. The ring head itself is 7 mm from the finger. It has been authenticated by an independent jeweller and the certificate for R8'588 will accompany the ring.
