The flash is supplied with:

The flash itself still has the rear-screen protective plastic but not the front AF assist lamp protective plastic, although there are only very minor signs of scratches on the front plastic.
There are no known defects in the flash at this time and all functions tested thus-far, including its ability to work as an optical and IR slave work fine. Its focus assist beam is only slightly off-center to the side, but can be straightened out by lightly 'wiggling' the flash to the appropriate direction in the hot-shoe - this sort of issue appears to be 'normal' among Yongnuo flashes and assist-lamp equipped wireless flash controllers from the company.
