Scarce Boer War Cover which was sent from Jagersfontein Road in the Orange Free State to East London in the Cape on the 26th of June 1900. Putzel rates the Jagersfontein Road Postmark as RR (Very Scarce) and Classifies the Postmark as Type 1d (No Year Slug - Month First). The Cover is backstamped with an In Transit "Bloemfontein" Postmark dated the 26th of June 1900 and with an arrival "East London" Postmark dated the 29th of June 1900. The Cover is a bit tatty so please see scans supplied.
