Authentic Antique Majolica Possibly Thomas Forester & sons 19th Cent? Gurgling Fish Pitchers decorated in a rich majolica Glaze. Majority of these old items weren't marked, but can be identified by style. See picture of example in Antique price guide. Most examples show some signs of minor damages due to the tin glaze.
Please note although a very rare matching pair, one Pitcher has a damaged lip or spout, a break has been glued. A chip under glaze is also seen. The other pitcher is practically perfect except for a small scuff to the lip or spout. These are still valuable Antique items and will benefit from minor restoration. Measure approximately 25.5 cm x 14 cm wide.
