Hard Cover No DJ, Pictorial Boards. Sunday Times First Edition 1994. 175 pages inc index. 21.75 x 28.5cm.

This one is perhaps special as it has an inscription signed by Braam le Roux the longest serving CEO of Spoornet / Transnet on a Spoornet compliment slip pasted to the ffep. So may be one for the Railwayana collectors too!!

" A miracle transformed South Africa from a country seemingly bent on self-destruction to one that achieved an extraordinary reconciliation amongst its diverse people.

The Miracle of a Freed Nation is the story of this remarkable metamorphosis.

Using carefully selected articles and photographs from the Sunday Times, the drama that unfolded over a period of 50 months in South Africa comes to life through the pages of this book.

Lavishly illustrated with over 200 compelling photographs both in colour and black & white, this is a book, which will serve as a permanent record of a momentous time.

John Cameron-Dow researched and chose the material for this book. He also wrote the introduction to each section."
