A stunning vintage Chinese Mahjong set with 148 pieces in their original wooden box.
The pieces are all made of bone beautifully keyed into bamboo backings. The pieces are all in good condition, with some minor surface cracks. I don't think this set was ever used, as some of the pieces were still taped together when I got it. The residue from the tape can still be seen on some of the pieces, as I have not attempted to clean them for fear of causing damage.
The box is made of what looks like solid cherry wood with Chinese inscriptions on the sliding lid. It is in excellent condition. Also included is the original pencil as well four small dice and some original instructions.
