Waiting on the station

This is the 'Waiting on the Station.'

My name is Stephen Scott, and you are viewing my original painting, "Waiting on the station", done with oils on canvas board. The painting was done in the studio from a combination of a photo and sketches made on one of Cape Town's stations.

This man sat passing the time without ill feeling toward the late train - it's Africa and Africa has it's own time.

This painting is 210mm x  260mm and signed. The buyer will receive the painting safely packaged and ready to frame.

A short bit about myself - I grew up living in Pretoria before moving to Cape Town. As a child I always had a pencil in my hand and art was natural for me. Art is my passion. My paintings have sold to patrons both nationally and internationally.
