Wilkinson Sword (South Africa / Suid Afrika) with Military Swagger Stick
The sword is in good condition. The handle of the sword is approx. 16 cm in length and the blade approx 81 cm. The total length is approx. 97 cm. It was made by Wilkinson Sword.
The swagger stick is approx. 68 cm in length. It shows a crown over cannon with the words South Africa – Suid Afrika.
The sword shows the old Coat-of-Arms of South Africa and also a crown with the words South Africa – Suid Afrika.
I presume the two items date from the Union of South Africa (1910-1960).
There is a number on the edge of the blade being 70640. Please note that fitting belt of the leather scabbard has broken off
