Faucaria felina Plants

Faucarias form clumps of stemless rosettes. The species are collectively known as 'Tiger Jaws'. This refers to the spiny looking edges of the leaves. The thick leaves are triangular or semi-circular in shape. The genus name Faucaria comes from the Latine for 'jaws'. They bloom for several months in winter. The flowers open around midday and close in the late afternoon. They often don't open if the weather is cloudy, or if they are in the shade.

Above is a photo of the actual plant which is in a 9cm pot.

This plant will be sent without a pot and soil free. We'll remove the plant from the soil as it not only increases postage but also makes the parcel unstable.
