THIS BEAUTIFUL ENGRAVING OF TWO HUMMING BIRDS WITH A SCENIC BACKGROUND MEASURES 10cm IN DIAMETER, THE IMAGES ARE DELICATELY ETCHED USING PURE COPPER AND THEN GILDING IT WITH SILVER AND GOLD.
THESE ENGRAVINGS WERE ORIGINALLY USED TO DECORATE THE ARMAMENTS OF THE SAMURAI WARRIORS, THEY HAVE BEEN HANDED DOWN FOR OVER 800 YEARS.
