ANTIQUE WALNUT BURR LETTER/WRITING BOX
Estimated late 1800's
Nice restoration or display as is piece!
This old writing box is estimated to be from the late 1800's and is made from what looks like mahogany, clad with Walnut burr veneer.
All the brass corners and trim are present, but unfortunately the divisions etc on the inside are missing. Also note the damage to the bottom.
The box could make a nice restoration project, or simply use it as is for a trinket or other box.
It measures 30cm x 23cm x 14cm.
