Hi - I'm having the same problem and it does not seem to help , but I'm using a USB modem and not my phone. It is actually difficault to say.You see these boosters make your phones antenna bigger and therefore it should help to catch the weak signal , but it does not make the signal stronger! It is simply an extention of your phone's internal antenna.
