This is a huge collection of coins, stamps, envelopes, post cards etc. from Paul Kruger’s ZAR as well as the Anglo Boer War period. I am not a philatelic expert, so cannot give much info on the stamps and letters. The dates on the post cards and letters are from approx 1894 to 1901. There are also items from the Orange Free State. Please see following pictures … The following is a complete sheet of ZAR stamps in fantastic condition… Here are the letters – mostly ZAR but also Orange Free State – the latest date is 1901. Here are some of the stamps mounted on pages … Here are some stamps in black envelope holders – ZAR and Stellaland. Here are the Paul Kruger Coin Set – Complete for the 1896 silver plus the 1898 Penny – so a complete type set being a Half Crown, Two-Shilling, Shilling, Sixpence, Tickey and Penny. All the coins are in very collectable condition with the Penny almost Uncirculated. Catalogue value well over R4000.00 This is a stange ZAR Postcard (“Brief Kaart”) written in some strange code. It is addressed to den Wel Ed Heer G Schoenmehl in London. Here are some Post Cards … The complete Coin type set of the ZAR and England during the War years. The English had the same type of coins as the Boers but bar the Crown, also the Half-Penny and Farthing. You are bidding on the whole collection as shown in all the pictures above. . |
