This piece is somewhat unusual! The central stone is a round cut 7 mm Tibetan sunstone, with a 2.5 mm round cut citrine on either shoulder. Two beautiful 9ct gold leaves enclose the citrine gemstones on each shoulder. The sunstone has been set in a four prong gold claw setting, and the ring head sits 6mm high above the finger. The colour of the sunstone is a gorgeous warm burnt orange, with an interesting little light orange speck of an inclusion which shows up in different angles of light. This is such an elegant and unusual ring!
The ring bears many hallmarks including the jeweller signature mark, 375 for 9 carat gold, the Birmingham Assay office and the date mark for 2005.
