Yes - the inverter has a built in 10Amp charger with automatic change over between mains and backup and visa versa.

Hi there. The PS1200 is the biggest in this range. We do stock another range of Inverters which go all the way to 8kVA but much more expensive. What do you need to run and I can advise.

Hi there, would I be able to charge the battery with solar panels? And how many watts of panels would I need to charge quickly? And for how long would I have power if I run a bar fridge, Computer, printer, kettle, and maybe a radio also? would appreciate asap reply.

Sorry for delay in replying. This is an inverter only, you will have to buy batteries separately. Yes - you can charge batteries with solar panels, but you will need a solar regulator to do this. The backup time you get will depend on how many and what size batteries you use. I think the best idea is to tell me what you want to get out of the system and I will tell you what you need to buy. An example ... with 4 x 105Ah batteries you would get around 10-12 hours backup depending on the size of the fridge and printer and frequency you use the pc/radio. You would not be able to use a kettle unless you found one thats less than 1200watts - most are 2000watts and more.
