Tanzanite is enjoying great popularity at the moment in the jewellery world. This piece has been crafted out of 9 carat white gold. It features 0,10 carats of blue violet square faceted tanzanites set in a straight line through the ring head. This central line is framed by 12 X 1mm round faceted natural diamonds with a further four along the shoulders. The entire design is distinctly art deco, stretching 16 mm up the finger. An interesting feature is the cage-like design that holds the elongated ring head. It raises the ring head 6mm above the finger.
The hallmarks include the mark for 9 carat (375), the jeweller signature and the Birmingham Assay. At 3,7 grams, the ring has a good solid feeling to it. I've had the ring authenticated by an independent jeweller. The certificate for R10'165 will accompany the ring.
