LARGE FRENCH ODO WALL CLOCK
Rare clock from the 1920's/1930's
These ODO clocks are fairly scarce and were not produced in such large numbers as for instance Kienze and Ansonia clocks. They were made in France and this example was manufactured during the late 1920's or early 1930's.
The clock is in a very good condition with only very minor marks as can be expected from a clock that is at least 85 years old.
The oak case is in great shape, with no major damage and both pieces of beveled glass are original with no cracks.
The original pendulum and key is also included.
The clock is in perfect working order and keeps time well. The springs are not over wound and it has no hiccups if set up correctly.
It has a beautiful chime every fifteen minutes, as well as a gong on the hour. Both the chime and gong can be silenced if needed.
Bear in mind that even though it is working perfectly, it may require service or adjustment after shipping. Even though we package with extreme care, these clocks are fairly sensitive
The clock has a height of approximately 69cm and is 31cm wide.
