Antique cast iron family/ kitchen scale. This old scale is green, and is made from cast iron. It has a round metal pan, and screws and dial fastener are brass. It stands 28cm high. Surprisingly, it is in good working order - it weighs accurately and the adjustment knob works. However, the scale is old (estimate over 100 years), and the face of the scale it distressed. I however think that this gives the it more character. As a result of the wear to the face, I cannot see what the make is, but I think it may be a Salter. A lovely old item for use or display in your kitchen.
