Pub: Howard Timmins, Cape Town for George Allen & Unwin , London, 1950. First edition. Hardcover, 190 pages, b&w illustrations. The author signed the book in 1950 for Rowland and Leta Hill. I assume it the same Rowland and Leta Hill, whose trust has helped countless organisations in South Africa. Internally: there are no other inscriptions other than the author's gift signature. There are pencil numbers on the fep which can be rubbed out. There is foxing on the f&beps - see photo. Content is clean. The d/j (unclipped) is damaged - see photos. Binding is good except at page 176 where there is a split from the binding - but no loose pages. Cloth cover in vg condition.
