Hi John, unfortunately that sweetheart brooch was sold and has been sent to the buyer already. I am from the Midlands and have only moved to the Cape nearly two years ago and I got the brooch amongst a lot of other stuff from Old Church auctions in Howick when I was living up there. Those brooches are not uncommon and are made from silver and all they did was put the different emblems of the different units onto the same designed brooch. They came out during WW2.
The person who bought it is also on BOB and goes under the name of "eclectic"
