The water pump will not work without the sunlight, It will restart within a few seconds once the sunlight re-appears.
No external batteries therefore a water height depends entirely on the strength of the sun, when the sunlight is weak the water pump will not work continuously, once the sunlight is stronger it will automatically restart.
Do not submerge solar panel into water as it has weak waterproof structure, it is not suitable for prolonged immersion in water.
