A front of a ANGLO BOER WAR cover send from VENTERSDORP, ZAR, to SIMONSTOWN (Simonstad) via DELAGOABAAI (Lourenco Marques) with a purple censor cachet which was used in Cape Town from 18 May 1901 to 26 April 1902. The front of the cover is franked with 2½d stamps (the postal tarrif then). Rests of the rose coloured censor sticker can also be seen. SCARCE piece from the via DELAGOABAY route!!!
