ANTIQUE No. 1 UNIVERSAL FOOD CHOPPER
Scarce USA manufactured piece - patents from 1897 - well marked

Manufactured by L.F & Co. in the USA, probably during the first few years of the 1900's and branded the No. 1 Universal Food Chopper.
It has two attachments (both attached in the images) that can be used to mash, chop or grind, working on the same principle as a mincer with a worm.
The chopper is in a working condition, although with the wing nut tightened, the attachment binds to the chopper body and the handle is hard to turn. Likely a washer of sorts is missing or the wing nut should just not be tightened too much.
Note also the piece missing from the table clamp.
Please have a look at the images to verify age and condition and feel free to ask any questions.

Any questions welcome!
