PRINCE Arthur. Private, Royal Durban Rifles, Anglo-Zulu War 1879. (Medal and no clasp). Anglo-Boer War; Enlisted 24.1.99. Private, Diamond Fields Artillery (No135). Corporal. Defence of Kimberley. Orange Free State operations. Corporal Collar Maker 3.3.03. Discharged from the DFA 11.1.04. Wife; Johanna Elizabeth Prince.

Interestingly in Kimberley during the siege there was a record of an ‘A.P. Prince’ who was a Saddler of No13 St Cyprian’s Road, Kimberley.  He could be the same man who is believed to be Arthur Pritchard Prince and died in 1924. More research required to confirm this possibility.
