Lipolysis for fat removal and cellulite treatment uses fat-dissolving phosphatidyl choline injected to the localized regions of the body.

The main component of soy Lecithin is Phosphatidylcholine (PPC), which has the ability to remove fat permanently. WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
People who want to remove small to medium size fat pockets in targeted areas of the body, but don't want to undergo surgery. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as people allergic to soy, people with stroke histories or those who recently recovered from cancer, and people with blood clotting history, as well as those on heart disease medication, should not consider the treatment. Insulin dependent persons should not consider the treatment.

WHAT ARE THE OUTCOMES?

WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS?
Since it is a non-invasive procedure, patients can resume normal activities immediately after the treatment although hot showers and baths should best be avoided for eight hours after treatment. Patients should refrain from excessive exercising and massages for the first week after treatment. It is a relatively painless procedure although patients may experience discomfort from the initial injection pricks. Light swelling, redness and a burning sensation may be experienced at the targeted areas for one to four days. Light bruises will disappear within a week

WHAT ARE THE COSTS?
Lipolysis requires 1-4 treatments per body area over a period depending on the results required.  1 Injection will cover an area of 10cm2.  It is an extremely popular method because of its affordability.  ie.  love handles.....2 injections on each side every 1 to 2 weeks for approximately 3 - 4 sessions.  10 injections (1 ampule) would cover the upper and lower tummy and love handles for 1 session.  100cc insulin syringes are used for this procedure and each injection uses 50cc (half a ml) therefore 10 injections can be obtained from 1 5ml ampule.

HOW OFTEN IS THE TREATMENT REPEATED?
Patients committed to a healthy lifestyle and regular water replenishment should experience permanent results between 1 and 4 treatments to a targeted area.  Treatments are recommended at intervals between 1 and 2 weeks depending on the patients response to treatment. It remains actively working on the fat cells for up to 8 weeks after the last treatment.
