This vintage gold plated wreath brooch pin is clearly the worked of a very skilled jeweler. Pictures hardly do the detail seen on this brooch any justice.
It has two marks on the back. The first the number '830' which is a hallmark for silver. The second is not very clear, our best guess however is that it would be the mark for the gold plating. Our guess would be that it is a silver brooch that was plated in gold, probably 9 karat. Some more research should be able to provide the answers.
It measures about 2.7 cm X 3.2 cm. It is in a good condition and the trombone clasp is in good working condition.
