DESCRIPTION:
A Carlton Ware Salad Ware embossed green 'Polyanthus' nut or sweet dish. Introduced in the 1930's,
this pastel coloured, moulded range used flowers, leaves and fruit either as decorative motifs or
as the main shape of the piece. It became the mainstay of Carlton Ware for nearly two decades.
MARKS:
Carlton Ware, Made in England, "Trademark", Registered Australian Design
and Registration Applied For printed on base. Impressed number 1771.
CONDITION:
No chips or cracks, with one fine overall crazing.
DIMENSIONS:
Approximately 11.5cm square X 3cm height.
