They were the German company from Hamburg, based in Hong Kong and Shanghai during the latter 1890-1900.

Research shows them in Hong Kong during 1890's and under their name Wm. MEYERINK & CO listed on Chinese manifest
 
as located at ”The Peak " Hong Kong.

They were importers furnishing watches amongst other things to the Europeans, living in Hong Kong and Shanghai at the
 
time.
