Here we have a well used Recce (SA Special Forces) urban helmet with its unique gray cover as well as a Firefly strobe and 2 x period "bomb-bandages".
The recce urban ops helmet is a unique cut/ shape and differs markedly from the std SADF infantry "fritz" helmet or SA Para M87 helmet.
The helmet is well used operationally and appears to have been used near the sea - possibly 4 RR?
Included in this auction is the complete helmet - with all the regular padding, grey helmet cover and straps. Also included is a fire-fly IR strobe (unserviceable - but good for display purposes) and 2 x period SADF issue bomb-bandages (first field-dressing).
This helmet is fully complete including the rubber chin-guard.
Please note that the camo material used as a background is not included in the auction.
