Features:

This is essentially a simple plug 'n play wireless for the amateur musician who wants the freedom of wireless without breaking the bank. This is a VHF system which happens to work very, very well for practice and/or gigging. It has a number of cool features, including a 'bass boost' which is not offered on other, more expensive, wireless systems. I'm currently using this with a cheap(but my favorite) SX 5-string fretless Jazz Bass, Behringer 300-watt amp, and 2 Behringer Cabinets (2 x 10" and 1 x 15"). I also run everything through a Digitech bass processer. Everything works completely and noiselessly with the Encore 200 - whether your amp has an effects loop or not. For my purposes as a simple bass player, this unit gives me everything I paid for.

Durability:

Durability is a funny thing. An item is only as durable to the degree one takes care of it. I've read reviews of Nady products being 'shoddy' but I cannot make the same statement with the Encore 200. It's small, built well and with proper care should last a good long time.
