Very interesting item, this one. Initially I thought it might be something like a a needle or hair clip holder, but when you open it the soft smell of perfume is unmistakable. Could this be a sort of a vinaigrette or perhaps a double sent bottle of which the glass inner tube is long gone? This is an old and fascinating object.
The metal is silver tone, no markings and in good condition. The length is 8.2 cm, width 1 cm and the weight 24 g.
