The name Anderson has been associated with the development of Lusaka and the design of fine buildings in the country for fifty years. William Anderson started the firm of what is now Anderson and Anderson International in 1948, and his son Andy has continued to expand it. Indeed no one in living in Lusaka will need to walk any great distance before coming across some of their work.
The author was born and is still living in Lusaka, so has seen much of the development. They came to Build is part recollection, part research, into the fascinating story of Lusaka and of Anderson and Anderson.
