Pentax M 50mm f2 - Reverse makro lens with extention tubes - Canon mount This macro setup consists out of the following: 1. Pentax M 50mm f2 prime lens. 2. Reverse lens adapter. 3. Extention tubes - set of 3. (you can use these with any Canon lens, but note that auto focus will not be availible) The following pic is with a standard Canon 18-55IS lens at max magnification, for comparison.
Please look at the configurations below and the unbelievible magnifications. Config 1: Reverse lens with no extention tubes.
Config 2: Reverse lens with 1 extention tube
Config 3: Reverse lens with 2 extention tubes.
Config 4: Reverse lens with 3 extention tubes.
All of the above images are shot by myself using a Canon 450D, tripod, lens manualy set to f22, only sunlight and a tripod.
