DESCRIPTION:
A cream and green glazed stoneware half litre beer stein, decorated with relief moulded
vignettes of Berlin, "Berliner Dom" (Berlin Cathedral), "Siegessaule" (Victory Column) and
the "Brandenburger Tor" (Brandenburg Gate), with pewter hinged lid and thumb grip.
MARKS:
J G M logo (Jakob Goldschmidt partnership with Moritz), number 11 and incised artist mark.
CONDITION:
No chips or cracks, with overall crazing, detached and damaged pewter lid.
DIMENSIONS:
Approximately 9cm base diameter X 21cm height including finial knob.
