RARE: early ST Dupont L1 lighter - silver plated, leather case , working. Genuine

A rare vintage ST Dupont ligne 1 gas lighter in working condition. This is an early version and has the flame adjuster inside the flint box. It also requires a small movement of the roller to release the gas valve - later versions released gas as the lid opened. The serial number, E 6 6 3 7, has been hand stamped.

Please examine the photographs - by right clicking and choosing view image you will see larger images. The lighter is working and holding gas. There is some wear to the silver plate at the edges, only to be expected in a lighter over 60 years old.

An added bonus is the snakeskin leather case, but I'm not sure if that is real or faux.
