Hillcrest Precious Jewels are proud to offer a strictly limited collection of Mapatizya Amethysts. These are rare gemstones indeed, and are in keeping with HPJ’s efforts to offer the rare and beautiful here on BoB.

The mining operation at Mapatizya is mechanized. Bulldozers and excavators are used to strip, excavate and expose the amethyst veins. The veins are then mined selectively by pick and shovel.
